Where this comes from

First-party	No live /guides/keys hub on dungeonlootr.lol before this page; Platinum acquisition not proven in returned first-party text.
Multi-source	Several community guides describe four key tiers + gated chests; Gold Key → Infernal Ore examples appear — no dedicated Platinum obtain walkthrough in the guides we found.
Unknown	Whether Platinum Key is a live named obtainable; any Platinum drop rate, dungeon, NPC, shop price, or pity — Unknown.

In Dungeon Lootr (Roblox) · ClickBytes, keys open gated chests. Multi-source beginner guides mention four key tiers and examples like Gold Key → Infernal Ore. A dedicated Platinum Key obtain path is Unknown in the guides we found — this page does not invent a drop, dungeon, quest, shop price, or pity.

Key-tier ladder

Tier	Opens	Example loot (multi-source)	Acquisition
Lower tiers (named in-client)	Matching gated chests	Varies by chest	Confirm live chest UI
Gold Key	Gold-gated chests	Infernal Ore called out in multiple beginner guides	Multi-source example — confirm live
Platinum Key	Unknown / confirm in-client	Unknown	Unknown — not confirmed yet

If your inventory never shows a Platinum Key string, treat Platinum as unproven and use this page as a key-tier shell only.

Gated-chest loop

Find a gated chest in a dungeon / extract run.
Use a matching key from inventory (tier must match the gate).
Loot, then decide extract vs push — see /guides/first-extract.
Do not assume every chest needs a Platinum Key.

Starter Compensation

Some beginner guides say the Starter Compensation reward includes keys; none show a Platinum Key in it.
